I thought I would start off the blog with a funny video looking at a serious subject- How the world views God/Jesus. Watch this video, it’s hilarious!
This video is very funny but I find it sad how many people see God as this impersonal being who is too big and important to care about them.
I thank God daily that that is simply not the case! He loves each one of us dearly to the point that he sent his own Son, Jesus, to die for each of us.
He created you, loves you, even knows you better than you know yourself! David writes in Psalm 139 how God knows him and is always watching over him.
How cool is it that the Lord God Almighty loves you as an individual and simply longs to spend time with you! I encourage y’all to spend time daily in God’s word, spend time in prayer and meditation- just focus on God and His majesty. As the Lord, Himself says in Psalm 46, “Be still, and know that I am God.” You will then be able to grow in you friendship with the all-powerful King of the Universe.
I hope you find this blog as a great encouragement! Even though God is the creator and Lord of the universe, he longs to have a personal relationship with you. He is always with you and He will never leave you.
